FAQs: Registration and Attendance

"How are you keeping students safe during COVID-19? "

 We are working hard to keep your students and our staff safe! Please see below: 

Cleanliness

  • All surfaces will be wiped down in between each class, including but not limited to: barres, door handles, used props, sinks, tables

Classroom

  • Students will remain at the recommended six feet apart with the use of taped-off grids on the floor and taped-off spaces on the barre. 
  • Masks are to be worn in the classroom. If your student is unable to wear a mask, please contact us!
  • Students are to wait until the instructor has safely emptied and cleaned the room before entering their classroom.
  • The drinking fountain will not be in use. Please bring a water bottle. Water will also be available for $1 at the front desk.
  • All classes will now end 5 minutes early to allow for cleaning in-between classes. 

Entering and exiting the building

  • All students must have their temperature taken before entering the classroom. 
  • The studio will have designated entrance and exit points. Please follow the flow!
  • The lobby will be closed to parents. Please wait in your vehicle.
  • The dressing room will be closed to all. Please arrive ready! Shoes can be brought into the classroom to change.
  • Any person entering the studio MUST be wearing a mask. 

Toddler and Pre Dance classes

  • A parent or guardian must stay in the dance room with their student to ensure that proper social distancing is being followed during class. 

"How do I know which classes are right for me or my child?"

Each dancer is different, which is why we offer a wide variety of classes. We have set up a number of ways to help you make the right choice!  Email us at info@studio3pac.com or call 734-424-9705 to speak to someone over the phone or to set up an appointment. And the best way to see if a class is a good fit is to try it! 

"If local area schools are canceled, will classes still be held at Studio 3?"

Studio 3 bases class cancellations on the early-afternoon weather and road conditions. If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, we will post it on our website and studio voice mail, and we will alert parents by e-mail. There are no refunds for classes missed due to inclement weather, although dancers are welcome to drop-in to another age-appropriate class within 3 weeks of the canceled one.  

"If I am registered for the Fall session, do I need to re-register for the Winter session?"

No. If you are registered for Fall and do not need to make any changes to your schedule, you do NOT need to re-register for the Winter session; your place in the class will be automatically held until the first invoice due date of the new session. If we have not received your payment by the due date, your dancer's place in the class will be opened up to a waiting student.  

"How long is each session?"

  • Fall and Winter Sessions are each 15 weeks long
  • Summer Sessions are each 4 weeks long

"How are classes billed?"

Total class tuition is posted at the time of registration. The tuition for each session can be divided into 2-4  payments for a convenience charge of $5 per payment (added to invoice). Tuition payments are due on the 20th of each month. Classes are billed one month in advance (for example, October tuition is due September 20th). NOTE: If you register for a class after the session begins, your student can drop-in to any age/level appropriate class to make-up for previously missed classes. Classes are NOT prorated.  

"How can I pay for classes?"

Invoices are sent via e-mail on the 10th of each month and are due on the 20th of each month. Invoices can be paid via credit card online, or in studio via credit card, check, or cash in our convenient drop box. You can also set your account on "Auto Pay" so that your payment will be paid automatically! 

"Am I refunded for missed classes?"

There are no refunds for missed classes. Classes canceled by the instructor will be made up at a later date. There are no refunds for classes missed due to inclement weather, although dancers are welcome to drop-in to another age-appropriate class within 3 weeks of the canceled one.

"What attire is required?"

"Will there be a performance during the year?"

Yes! We hold a winter show at the end of the Fall session, and our annual end-of-season performance completes the Winter session. Our winter performance is in December, and our end-of-season performance is in June. More information for each recital will be posted closer to the recital date. See our calendars for more information. 


Note that there are NOT performances during our summer sessions. 


"Where can I find recital information?"

More information for each recital will be posted closer to the recital date on the RECITAL PAGE of our website. Here you can find dates, location, show orders, costume information, and more!


"What are the costs associated with the recital?"

Each participating family is charged a Recital Fee that includes the following:


  • UNLIMITED tickets to the show - invite as many guests as you would like!
  • Recital Tee (Winter Session Only)
  • Dress Rehearsals/Extra Rehearsals (Winter Session Only)

Fall Session Recital Fee: $45

Winter Session Recital Fee:  $75
