Several of you know Erica from her previous tenure at Studio 3. For those who don’t, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Studio Management degree and a Business minor has taught dance for 12 years, and performed in the musicals "Tarzan" and "Cinderella." At EMU, she learned from many professional choreographers and performed in three ballets: "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", "Cinderella", and "Coppelia." Erica taught jazz, ballet, tap, acro, lyrical, and pointe at Studio 3 from 2015 to 2018 and is so excited to be a part of the Studio 3 family again!
Miranda has been with Studio 3 since 2017. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and started competing at age 5. For the past 6 years, we have had Miss Miranda teaching. She has choreographed competitive groups and solos/duets that have pushed our students to the next level. She is beyond blessed to continue her efforts with Studio 3 as a new owner.
Miss Miranda and Mrs. Erica have grown up together dancing side by side as cousins for many years they are so happy to join in on this journey as a new family business. They have very high hopes for Studio 3 Performing Arts Center. They aim to continue to build and grow this family to reach higher goals. They would like to ask staff to feel free to reach out to ask any questions or new ideas to improve our studio. They are thrilled to be working with every one of you.
Rachel Adams has been dancing for over 28 years and has been teaching and choreographing for 17 years. She graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University, earning a B.S. in Dance Performance and Choreography.
While at EMU she studied ballet and modern technique extensively under the direction of Sherry Wilkinson and Holly Hobbs, and performed in numerous faculty and student concerts. She also presented at the EMU Undergraduate Symposium in 2008 for her Studies in Dance History and in 2009 for her solo choreography work.
Prior to attending college she danced on her studio's competitive team, studying with industry professionals such as Tyce Diorio, Gregg Russell, Derek Mitchell, Chris Judd and Chebar Williams at conventions across the country. Ms. Adams feels fortunate to share her love of dance with children, and hopes to instill that same passion in them.

Megan Duby has been dancing since the age of three and was part of a competition team for thirteen years. Megan has furthered her dance experience at Eastern Michigan where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in dance. As well as, she was on EMU’s dance team. Megan is excited to start teaching and sharing her love and passion for dance with her students. “ I am excited to help my students grow and fall in love with dance.”
Jessie Joy Wise, originally from Ann Arbor, MI, has been involved in dance and theatrical arts since her youth. She received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, with a Certificate in Sound Production and Engineering, from Washtenaw Community College, 2008. In Spring 2011, she graduated with a BA in Dance, Dance Making focus from Columbia College Chicago where she danced in works choreographed by renowned artists Joe Goode and Renee Wadleigh.
She has been intensely trained in modern, ballet, jazz, choreography and musical theatre stylings as well as had instruction in contact improvisation, tap, contemporary, yoga and liturgical styles. She has also trained under the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Ballet Magnificat. From 2008-2012, she produced shows with her own youth musical theatre company where she directed, choreographed, and produced the work. She has choreographed many musicals for Dexter High School and community theatres in SE Michigan. Jessie performed for two years as a company member of DDCdances, a professional modern dance company in the Detroit Metro area.
Jessica currently teaches dance technique at studios around the Ann Arbor area and choreographs musicals for Ann Arbor Christian School. Jessie is recently certified in Autism Dance Therapy and hopes to continue making dance/theatre experiences accessible and full of creativity for all.
Miss Rebecca began dancing at the age of 7 and trained for over ten years at the Dance Company of Port Huron under Gerri Shultz and the Marine City Dance Company of Marine City under Diane Geck.
She performed in many prominent roles in her nine years of dancing with the performance company, the International Ballet Theatre, including numerous solo and pas de deux pieces. Miss Rebecca is also a veteran of various dance competitions across the country.
In the realm of the stage, she has received professional training in comedy and improv theater, including at the famous Second Sunday Comedy Theatre, and was a founding member of the Second Sunday Improv Troupe in Petoskey, MI. She has also starred in a number of independent films and numerous live stage performances.
She brings over twenty years of experience teaching dance and theater to Studio 3. Miss Rebecca currently lives in Milford with her husband, Christopher, their five wonderful children, Ben, Alex, Nora, Max, and Violet, and their faithful dog, Miles.
Stephanie currently resides in Commerce Township with her husband Ryan, and their new adorable puppy. She has also recently graduated with her MBA! Congratulations, Stephanie!
Megan moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2013, and then to Knoxville, TN in 2015, with her husband Mark, son Jack, daughter June, and precious new kitten!
