Rebecca Sand-Schaedig : Owner/Founder/Instructor

 

Miss Rebecca began dancing at the age of 7 and  trained for over ten years at the Dance Company of Port Huron under Gerri Shultz and the Marine City Dance Company of Marine City under Diane Geck. 


She performed in many prominent roles in her nine years of dancing with the performance company, the International Ballet Theatre, including numerous solo and pas de deux pieces.  Miss Rebecca is also a veteran of various dance competitions across the country. 


In the realm of the stage, she has received professional training in comedy and improv theater, including at the famous Second Sunday Comedy Theatre, and was a founding member of the Second Sunday Improv Troupe in Petoskey, MI. She has also starred in a number of independent films and numerous live stage performances.  


She brings over twenty years of experience teaching dance and theater to Studio 3. Miss Rebecca currently lives in Milford with her husband, Christopher,  their five wonderful children, Ben, Alex, Nora, Max, and Violet, and their faithful dog, Miles.  You can contact Miss Rebecca directly at missrebecca@studio3pac.com.​

Rachel Adams: Instructor

 Rachel Adams has been dancing for over 28 years and has been teaching and choreographing for 17 years. She graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University, earning a B.S. in Dance Performance and Choreography. 


While at EMU she studied ballet and modern technique extensively under the direction of Sherry Wilkinson and Holly Hobbs, and performed in numerous faculty and student concerts. She also presented at the EMU Undergraduate Symposium in 2008 for her Studies in Dance History and in 2009 for her solo choreography work. 


Prior to attending college she danced on her studio's competitive team, studying with industry professionals such as Tyce Diorio, Gregg Russell, Derek Mitchell, Chris Judd and Chebar Williams at conventions across the country. Ms. Adams feels fortunate to share her love of dance with children, and hopes to instill that same passion in them.   


She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and beautiful daughter, Alice. We are excited to be celebrating Rachel's seventh season with Studio 3 PAC! You can now contact Miss Rachel directly at: MissRachel@studio3pac.com

Mary Baniowski: Dance Instructor

Mary has over a decade of teaching experience and has been dancing since the age of 3. She is educated in a variety of styles such as; Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Hawaiian, and Gymnastics. She has been a member of the Graceful Dance team for 5 years and performed in many productions of The Glory of Christmas, as both a dancer and character performer. Mary also received advanced Cecchetti ballet training under Pamela MacIntyre. She also performed in an independent documentary and music video. 


Mary has a passion for choreography and enjoys seeing her students grow in their abilities.  She is very excited to be entering her third year at Studio 3 PAC!

Elizabeth Berghorst: Voice Instructor

 

Elizabeth Berghorst has been heavily involved in music since she was young, involving herself in every music camp, private voice studies, and choir program that she could find. She attended Hope College in 2011, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education. She studied voice under the direction of Linda Dykstra while completing her degree. Currently, she is teaching elementary music and choir in Dexter Community Schools. 

Outside of the classroom, Liz has taught private voice lessons and also co-directed vocals for the middle school and high school musicals in Dexter. She has a passion for working with kids and loves spreading her love of music with others. 

Liz lives in Ann Arbor with her husband Devin, their son Grayson and their golden retriever, Ripley.

Miranda Galbraith: Dance & Acro Instructor

Miranda Galbraith is currently a student at Eastern Michigan University.  She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and started competing when she was 5 years old at the regional and national levels, earning both platinum and overall awards.  She was part of the teaching staff for 6 years as well as choreographed competitive group and solos/duets for her students.  


Miranda has studied Cecchetti ballet for 15 years and passed grades 1 through 5.  During the 15 years of dancing, she brings years of experience in ballet, lyrical, jazz, pointe, hip-hop, gymnastics and tap.  


Miranda is currently studying Occupational Therapy and Studio Management with a minor in dance.​ This is her fourth year at Studio 3 PAC, and we are excited to have her!!​

Kristen Hudecz: Dance Instructor

 

Miss Kristen has been dancing since the age of three, first training recreationally and competitively in her hometown of Gladwin, Michigan, and later attending Eastern Michigan University where she earned a bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Dance Performance. 
Kristen has performed in countless works with the EMU Dance Program, including residency works set by choreographers and students from the Alvin Ailey and Martha Graham dance companies, and a total of five works, including her own choreography, at the American College Dance Association East-Central Conference. 

While at EMU, Kristen continued choreographing for her hometown musical theatre productions, and taught master classes, summer intensives, guest choreography, and four full seasons of recreational and competitive classes at Michigan dance studios. Her competitive students have been awarded high achievements, scholarships, and extra learning opportunities, and her personal choreography has been selected for feature in many southeast Michigan dance concerts.

Kristen shares her passion for dance and movement with students of all ages and backgrounds. She is so excited to be bringing her extensive experience to our Studio 3 PAC families!

Katherine Martin: Dance Instructor/Substitute Instructor

Katherine began dancing in Dexter, MI when she was 3 years old, focusing mainly on jazz, ballet, and lyrical styles. When she was 10, she became involved in competitive dance, which she very quickly fell in love with. At that point, dance, previously a hobby, developed into an infatuation that never left. The next year, she began studying under studio owner Miss Rebecca. Her involvement with competitive dance continued into high school. It was around this time that she developed a particular interest in choreography.

 

Katherine left Dexter for Chicago to study writing and photography, taking any chance to dance or choreograph while she was at college, and often coming home to help out at Studio 3 when she could. After graduating in 2019, Katherine moved back to Dexter. Nowadays, she works as a freelance photographer and writer with the help of her cat, Peanut Butter, and is lucky enough to be back at Studio 3–this time to teach!

Lexi Wajda: Substitute Instructor

 Miss Lexi is a Studio 3 crew member alumni and began dancing at the age of 4 years old competing at national levels. She has won countless first place and overall awards, as well as scholarships from prestigious dance conventions. Lexi has trained and danced under the Hubbard Dance Company, Jacob’s Pillow, and Marymount Manhattan. She continued to dance professionally in Los Angeles and New York City where she studied Dance and Film at The American Music and Dramatic Academy Conservatory and Fordham University’s Alvin Alley program. During college, she fell in love with choreography and was chosen to choreograph various pieces for her school. When Lexi found free time outside of her studies, she judged for the national dance competition Nexstar from 2015-2017 and choreographed the hit YouTube dance series, Flash Me!


Lexi has been dancing professionally and competitively for over 15 years and teaching for 10! She loves to merge her passion for videography and dance to create captivating films and shows. When Lexi isn’t at the studio, she is at home with her two dogs watching movies :)

Jessie Wise: Dance & Musical Theater Instructor

 Jessie Joy Wise, originally from Ann Arbor, MI, has been involved in dance and theatrical arts since her youth. She received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, with a Certificate in Sound Production and Engineering, from Washtenaw Community College, 2008. In Spring 2011, she graduated with a BA in Dance, Dance Making focus from Columbia College Chicago where she danced in works choreographed by renowned artists Joe Goode and Renee Wadleigh. 


She has been intensely trained in modern, ballet, jazz, choreography and musical theatre stylings as well as had instruction in contact improvisation, tap, contemporary, yoga and liturgical styles. She has also trained under the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Ballet Magnificat. From 2008-2012, she produced shows with her own youth musical theatre company where she directed, choreographed, and produced the work. She has choreographed many musicals for Dexter High School and community theatres in SE Michigan. Jessie performed for two years as a company member of DDCdances, a professional modern dance company in the Detroit Metro area. 


Jessica currently teaches dance technique at studios around the Ann Arbor area and choreographs musicals for Ann Arbor Christian School. Jessie is recently certified in Autism Dance Therapy and hopes to continue making dance/theatre experiences accessible and full of creativity for all.

Stephanie Heinbuch: Founder

Stephanie currently resides in Commerce Township with her husband Ryan, and their new adorable puppy. She has also recently graduated with her MBA! Congratulations, Stephanie!

Megan Stanley: Founder

Megan moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2013, and then to Knoxville, TN in 2015, with her husband Mark, son Jack, daughter June, and precious new kitten!
